Filters allow you to refine and focus your data in Feedback, Dashboards, and Reports. Whether you're analyzing trends, generating reports, or reviewing individual responses, filters let you pinpoint the exact information you need. You can also combine filters with flexible "and/or" conditions for more advanced data segmentation.
Adding filters
Navigate to the Feedback, Survey Dashboards, or Reports page.
Click on
+ Add a filter
.Select the field and value you'd like to filter by.
Fields within the same filter use an "or" condition.
βExample: A filter for the Survey field containing both "Satisfaction Survey" and "NPS" will include responses from either survey.
Toggling and/or conditions
You can toggle between and and or conditions to control how filters are applied:
And - Displayed data must meet all the specified filter conditions.
Or - Displayed data will appear if it matches at least one of the filter conditions.
To change the condition:
Locate the and/or text between filters.
Click on the text to toggle between and and or.
This lets you fine-tune how filters work together for more precise data analysis.
Creating filter groups
Filter groups allow you to apply different "and" and "or" conditions to specific sets of fields, giving you more control over how your filters interact
Start by adding at least one filter to your view.
Click the + icon to the right of an existing filter to create a new group.
Define the filters and logic for the group:
Use and/or toggles within the group to control how its filters interact.
Combine multiple groups to apply additional conditions with and/or logic across groups.
Example:
Group 1 (OR): "Survey = Product Feedback" or "Tag = Feature Request"
AND: "Sentiment = Positive"
Result: Positive feedback related to Product Feedback surveys or tagged as Feature Request.
Exporting filtered data
Once you've applied your filters, you can export the refined results to a CSV file. This ensures your exported data is aligned with your specific reporting or analysis needs.
