Adding a survey to Atera

Simplesat allows you to create a CSAT or NPS survey that you can embed Atera email templates.


Authenticating with Atera

You'll need to authenticate your Atera account before installing any integration. Don't worry, you only need to do this once. πŸ˜‰

Click the little eye icon to show your API key, then click the copy button to copy it to your clipboard.

At API key fill in the key you just copied and click authenticate.

You're now authenticated with Atera! πŸŽ‰


Pull ticket details

Each time your customer provides a rating, Simplesat will associate the following information with the response.

Object

Data collected

Ticket

ID, Title, Priority, Type, Number, Source, Impact

Requester (User)

ID, Name, Email

All information gathered through the API will override fields sent through URL parameters.

Here's an example of how this will look in Simplesat:

Sync feedback to ticket custom fields

Simplesat can display feedback data in the related ticket's custom fields.

Here's an example of what this looks like in Atera:

To set this up you'll first need to create the custom fields in Atera.

Do this by going to admin > custom fields.

Click add field and add these 3 fields:

  • Target: Ticket

  • Type: Number

  • Title: Simplesat rating

  • Required: No

  • Service portal configurations: Hide field

  • Target: Ticket

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Simplesat sentiment

  • Required: No

  • Service portal configurations: Hide field

  • Target: Ticket

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Simplesat comment

  • Required: No

  • Service portal configurations: Hide field

Scroll down to sync feedback to ticket custom fields and click activate integration.


Sync feedback to user custom fields

Simplesat can sync a user's latest rating and sentiment to Atera.

Here's an example of what this looks like in Atera:

To set this up you'll first need to create the custom fields in Atera.

Do this by going to admin > custom fields and change to the user tab.

Click add field and add these 5 fields:

  • Target: User

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Latest CSAT

  • Required: No

  • Target: User

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Latest NPS

  • Required: No

  • Target: User

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Latest CES

  • Required: No

  • Target: User

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Latest 5-star

  • Required: No

  • Target: User

  • Type: Text

  • Title: Latest sentiment

  • Required: No

Scroll down to sync feedback to user custom fields and click activate integration.
