Adding surveys to Constant Contact

Simplesat surveys can be embedded directly to your Constant Contact email campaigns.

Authenticating with Constant Contact

You'll need to authenticate your Constant Contact account before installing any integration. Don't worry, you only need to do this once. πŸ˜‰

Log in with your Constant Contact credentials and click allow.

You're now authenticated with Constant Contact! πŸŽ‰


Update contact with feedback

Simplesat can update a contact's custom fields with its latest rating, sentiment and comment.

Here's an example of what this looks like in Constant Contact:

To set this up you'll first need to create the custom fields in Constant Contact.

Start off by clicking on your name in the top right corner and going to account settings.

Next, go to the advanced settings tab and click manage in the custom fields section.

Create 6 new custom fields

  • Name: Latest Simplesat CSAT rating

  • Type: text

  • Name: Latest Simplesat NPS rating

  • Type: text

  • Name: Latest Simplesat 5-star rating

  • Type: text

  • Name: Latest Simplesat CES rating

  • Type: text

  • Name: Latest Simplesat sentiment

  • Type: text

  • Name: Latest Simplesat comment

  • Type: text

Authenticate if you haven't done so already, then scroll down to update contact with feedback and click activate integration.

Once the integration is activated, scroll down a little to the field mapping table.

Your newly created custom fields should show up in the table.

You're free to map it however you like, but we recommend mapping the following values:

Display rating and sentiment in contact tags

Simplesat can update a contact's tags with its latest rating and sentiment.

Here's an example of what this looks like in Constant Contact:

Authenticate if you haven't done so already, then scroll down to display rating and sentiment in contact tags and click activate integration.


Sync feedback to contact note

Simplesat can display a contact's feedback in its note.

Here's an example of what this looks like in Constant Contact:

Sync contacts

Simplesat can sync new and edited users from Constant Contact over to Simplesat

The following fields will be synced over:

  • ID

  • Name

  • Email

  • Company

The first time this integration gets activated it'll sync over all users, afterwards this integration will run once per day and sync over the users that have been updated in the 24 hours prior to that.

Scroll down to sync contacts and click activate integration.
