Add a Simplesat survey to NinjaOne

Simplesat allows you to create a CSAT or NPS survey that you can embed directly in NinjaOne email notifications.


Create your survey

First, create a new survey.

Set up your survey. Then go to the publish tab, select integrate with another tool and select NinjaOne.

Next, click Generate Embed Code. Make sure you're on the link option, then click Copy survey.

Start off by opening NinjaOne, then go to administration > apps > installed and click on ticketing.

Then go to the custom status tab and create a new status under resolved.

We'll use this custom status to make sure users will only get sent a survey once.

Name the status awaiting feedback, set the automatic transition to closed and set the transition time to how long you want to wait before closing the ticket.

Next, go to automation > event based > add.

Create a new rule called send simplesat survey, and create the following condition:

If the status equals resolved.

Next, go to the actions tab and select the email action.

Write an email message and include the Simplesat survey URL which you've created earlier in your email.

Add another action and set this to update ticket - status - awaiting feedback.

Eventually it should look somewhat like this:

Click save and you're done! πŸŽ‰


Try it out!

Create a test ticket with yourself as the requester. Check your email and click any rating that you like. Once you do, new feedback should instantly show up in your Simplesat dashboard. 🎊
