By default, Managers and Collaborators don't have access to any surveys. You can grant access when inviting new users, editing existing users, or directly from survey dashboards.

Restricting survey access means that the user cannot see any survey stats or feedback anywhere in their Simplesat account or email notifications.

Survey access

Here's how you can control survey access for different user roles.

Set survey access for individual users

You can set survey access for Managers and Collaborators when inviting new users or editing existing ones on the Users page.

Choose user access for an individual survey

To edit user access, select the Add or remove user access option from the three-dot overflow menu when viewing or editing a survey.

By default, only Owners and Admins have full access to new surveys. Manager and Collaborator access must be assigned as needed.

Restricting feedback for Collaborators

In addition to restricting survey access, Admins can enable an option for Collaborators to only see the feedback they're associated with on the Roles page.

Once enabled, Collaborators will only see feedback if their account is mapped to the primary team member or any ticket collaborators.

In the example image below from a response, Josh Walker and Tim Brennan would both be able to view this feedback.
