Add a Simplesat survey to Kustomer

How to add your CSAT, customer effort score (CES), and net promoter score (NPS) embed codes to Kustomer.

Simplesat allows you to create a CSAT, CES, or NPS survey that you can embed directly in Kustomer email templates.

Create your survey

First, create a new survey.

Customize the survey settings to your heart's desires. 😁 Then, choose the Integrate with another tool option in the Publish tab.

Select Kustomer on the pop-up box.

Click the Generate Embed Code button. Make sure you're on the HTML option, then click Copy survey.

Add your survey to Kustomer

Email Templates

Head over to your Kustomer account, and Settings > Administration > Email Templates.

You can create a new email template with the Visual Builder or the Code Editor, or you can edit an existing template.

The Code Editor option allows you to code your own template with custom HTML. If you want to use the Visual Builder, you need to use the visual option when generating the survey in your Simplesat account.

Edit the template with the Code editor. Then, paste the survey code that you've copied from your Simplesat account.


Select Preview to preview your template for web and mobile screens. Then, click Save.


Send a survey Using Business Rules

In your Kustomer account, navigate to Settings > Platform > Business Rules > select Add Rule. Then, fill out the Name and Description of this rule.

Next, select the trigger that will cause the business rule to run from the drop-down menu.

Determine what the business rule criteria the business rule must meet using the Match all of the following or Match any of the following fields.

Define the action the business rule will take once it meets the criteria. You can choose to update data in an object, send a (survey) message, or both. Click Save Changes.


Try it out!

Create a test ticket with yourself as the requester. Check your email and click any rating that you like. Once you do, new feedback should instantly show up in your Simplesat dashboard. 🎊
