Add a Simplesat survey to Missive

How to add your CSAT, customer effort score (CES), and net promoter score (NPS) embed codes to Missive.

Simplesat allows you to create a CSAT, CES, or NPS survey that you can embed directly in Missive email templates.

Create your survey

First, create a new survey.

Customize the survey settings to your heart's desires. 😁 Then, choose the Integrate with another tool option in the Publish tab.

Select Missive on the pop-up box.

Click the Generate Embed Code button. Make sure you're on the Visual option, then click Copy survey.


Missive email placeholders

These are automatically included when you generate a Missive survey embed code, but here they are just in case. πŸ˜‰

Add your survey to Missive

Create a response template

Head over to your Missive account, and navigate to your profile > Responses.

Click on Create new response. You can set it as Personal or Shared.

Click the Add variable icon.

Set the variables. Make sure that the ask to confirm value is set to Always. Then, click insert.

Paste the survey that you've copied from your Simplesat account.

Add the survey template to messages

In the email section, click the insert response icon.

Select the survey template that you created and click Insert response.

Enter the response variables. Then, click Insert.


Try it out!

Create a test email with yourself as the recipient. Check your email and click any rating that you like. Once you do, new feedback should instantly show up in your Simplesat dashboard. 🎊
