Add a Simplesat survey to Trengo
Simplesat allows you to create surveys that you can embed Trengo email templates.
Authenticating with Trengo
You'll need to authenticate your Trengo account before installing any integration. Don't worry, you only need to do this once. π
First you'll need to generate an API key in Trengo here.
Be sure to copy the code because you'll only be able to see it once!
Next, visit the Trengo integration page by clicking here, then click authenticate.
Paste the API key which you've just created and click authenticate.
You're now authenticated with Trengo! π
Pull ticket details
Each time your contact provides a rating, Simplesat will associate the following information with the response.
Object | Data collected |
Ticket | ID, Subject, URL, Channel, Team |
Contact | ID, Name, Email, Company |
Owner | ID, Name, Email |
All information gathered through the API will override fields sent through URL parameters.
To set this up, go to the Trengo integration page by clicking here.
Authenticate, if you haven't done so already.
Then scroll down to pull ticket details and click activate integration.
Update ticket custom fields after receiving a Simplesat rating
Simplesat can display feedback in the related ticket's custom fields.
Simplesat will automatically create the custom fields if they don't exist.

Add an internal note to a ticket after receiving a Simplesat rating
Simplesat can sync feedback data back to a ticket as an internal note.

Update ticket labels
Simplesat can sync feedback data back to a ticket's labels.
