Authenticating with 4me
First, log in to your 4me environment, then click your profile picture in the top-right corner and go to my profile.
Go to personal access tokens and click generate new token.
Name it Simplesat, then click add record types and add request, person, problem, me and webhook.
Then click generate token and note down your token, you will only be able to see this once!
Next, go back to the 4me integrations page, then click authenticate.
Fill in your newly created personal access token.
At account fill in the first part of your 4me URL. For example, if your 4me URL is https://simplesat.4me.com/ then your account is simplesat.
At region/environment fill in your corresponding region and environment from these tables:

Next, click authenticate.

Send event based survey
Pull request details
Each time your customer provides a rating, Simplesat will associate the following information with the response.
Object | Data collected |
Request | ID, Subject, Impact, Category, Urgent |
Requested by | ID, Name, Email, Organization, Job title |
Member | ID, Name, Email |
All information gathered through the API will override fields sent through URL parameters.

To enable this, go to the 4me integrations page.
Scroll down to pull request details and click activate integration.
Once it has successfully activated, scroll down a little and select the survey this should trigger on, in this case it should be your requests surveys:
Sync contacts
Simplesat can sync new and edited users from 4me over to Simplesat
The following fields will be synced over:
ID
Name
Email
Organization name
The first time this integration gets activated it'll sync over all users, afterwards this integration will run once per day and sync over the users that have been updated in the 24 hours prior to that.
To set this up, go to the 4me integrations page.
Scroll down to sync contacts and click activate integration.
Display feedback in request internal note
Simplesat can sync feedback back to the related 4me request as an internal note.
