Adding surveys to Front

Simplesat surveys can be added to your email signatures in Front


Authenticating with Front

Next, click the authenticate button.

Log in with your Front credentials and click authorize.

You're now authenticated with Front πŸŽ‰


Pull conversation details

Each time your customer provides a rating, Simplesat will associate the following information with the response.

Object

Data collected

Conversation

ID, Subject

Requester (Recipient)

ID, Name, Email

Responder (Assignee)

ID, Name, Email

All information gathered through the API will override fields sent through URL parameters.

Next, scroll down to pull conversation details and click activate integration.


Add feedback to conversation as an internal comment

Simplesat can sync feedback back to the related conversation as an internal comment.

Add feedback to contact as an internal note

Simplesat can sync feedback back to the related contact as an internal note.

The note will contain links to the customer, feedback and survey in Simplesat.
And the note's author will appear as the assignee that was assigned to the conversation the feedback was left on.

Sync contacts from Front to Simplesat

Simplesat can automatically sync over new and updated contacts from Front to Simplesat.

The first time this integration gets activated it will sync over all contacts.
Afterwards it will check once per day for new and updated contacts and sync those over.

Scroll down to sync contacts from Front to Simplesat and click activate integration.


Send an event-based survey from a webhook in Front

Simplesat can automatically send an event-based email survey once a rule in Front gets triggered.

To set this up you'll first need to have an event-based survey set up. Either use an existing one, or create a new survey by going to direct email delivery > event-based

Configure your email, then go to the delivery tab and copy the endpoint.

Scroll down to send an event-based survey from a webhook in Front and click activate integration.

Once that's done, scroll down to endpoint and paste the endpoint URL which you've copied earlier. Then click save.

Once that's done, copy the webhook URL, you'll need this later.

Next, log in to Front and open the settings page.

Then click on rules and macros.

Click create rule and then click create from scratch.

Give it a descriptive name, then select the trigger on when it should send a survey

For example, when a conversation has been archived.

Under if, fill in any extra conditions:

At then, select send to webhook and paste the webhook URL which you've copied earlier.

Then click create.

Simplesat will now start to send email surveys when the rule in Front gets triggered.


Send an in-app survey from a webhook in Front

Simplesat can automatically send an in-app survey link once a rule in Front gets triggered.

Before settings this up, you'll first need to have a Front survey set up. Either use an existing one or create a new one.
Select external email embed and then select Front.

Once that's done, click generate embed code and copy the survey link.

Scroll down to send in-app survey from a webhook in Front and click activate integration.

Once that's done, scroll down to survey token and paste the survey link which you've copied earlier. Then click save.

Once that's done, copy the webhook URL, you'll need this later.

Next, log in to Front and open the settings page.

Then click on rules and macros.

Click create rule and then click create from scratch.

Give it a descriptive name, then select the trigger on when it should send a survey

For example, when a conversation has been archived.
