What does it mean to be unsubscribed?
The subscribed/unsubscribed subscription status determines if customers are eligible to receive survey emails or not.
If a customer is unsubscribed, they will not receive survey emails, regardless if they belong in any audience rules.
How can customers unsubscribe?
Each Simplesat survey email gives your customers the option to unsubscribe from future emails. After you customer clicks this link, they'll be unsubscribed. The only way to resubscribe is to manually edit their profile in Simplesat.
If customers unsubscribe themselves, it probably means they don't want to receive your emails anymore. Try not to take this personally. Only resubscribe customers if they've given you permission to do so.
Viewing subscription status
The main Customers page gives you quick visibility into the subscription status of each person.
Changing subscription status
Open an individual customer and choose the Unsubscribe option from the edit dropdown
If the user is already unsubscribed, you'll have the option to resubscribe.
If customers are unsubscribed, you'll see a label next to their name.
