Add a Simplesat survey to ManageEngine
Simplesat allows you to create a survey that you can embed directly in ManageEngine email notifications.
Pull request details
Each time your customer provides a rating, Simplesat will associate the following information with the response.
Object | Data collected |
Request | ID, Subject, Priority, Impact, SLA, Impact, URL, Type, Priority, Category, Group, Department |
Requester | ID, Name, Job title |
Responder (Technician) | ID, Name |
All information gathered through the API will override fields sent through URL parameters.

To enable this, go to the ManageEngine integrations page by clicking here.
Scroll down to pull request details and click activate integration.
Update request custom fields
Simplesat can update a request's custom fields with the related Simplesat feedback.
Here's an example of what this looks like in ManageEngine:
To set this up you'll first need to create custom fields in ManageEngine.
Start off by going to setup and go to request > customisation > additional fields.
Create 3 new fields with the following settings:

Name: Simplesat rating
Field type: Numeric
Name: Simplesat sentiment
Field type: Single-line
Name: Simplesat comment
Field type: Multi-line
Note down the field keys of your newly created fields, you'll need those later.
Next, go to setup > template & forms and select the template where you'd like the fields to be displayed.
Drag in your newly created fields from the right sidebar into your template.
Eventually it should look something like this:
Click save to save the template.
When that's done, visit the ManageEngine integrations page by clicking here.
Scroll down to update request custom fields and click activate integration.
Once it's been successfully activated scroll down a little to field mappings.
Replace the 3 field names with the field keys from earlier.
Once you're done, click save.
Create request note
Simplesat can create a feedback note in a request.

Scroll down to create request note and click activate integration.
Update request tags
Simplesat can display feedback and sentiment in a request's tags.
