Adding a Simplesat survey to NinjaOne

Simplesat allows you to create surveys that you can embed NinjaOne email templates.

Authenticating with NinjaOne

You'll need to authenticate your NinjaOne account before installing any integration. Don't worry, you only need to do this once. πŸ˜‰

First off, you'll need to create a client app ID in NinjaOne. To do this, open NinjaOne and go to administration > apps > API > client app IDs, then click add.

Use the following settings for the client app ID:

Application platform: API services (machine-to-machine)

Name: Simplesat

Scopes: Monitoring, Management, Control

Allowed grant types: Authorization code, Client credentials, Refresh token

Click save and copy your client secret. You'll only see this once so be sure to note it down because you'll need this later.

Next click the close button in the top right corner and copy your client ID.

Once that's done, go to the NinjaOne integration page by clicking here and click authenticate.

Fill in the client ID and client secret which you've just created and enter your NinjaOne subdomain.

You can find this in the URL of your NinjaOne environment.

For example, if your NinjaOne URL is https://oc.ninjarmm.com/ then your subdomain is oc.

Next, log in with your NinjaOne credentials and click authorize.

You're now authenticated with NinjaOne! πŸŽ‰
