Add a survey to Odoo

Simplesat allows you to create a CSAT, NPS, CES or 5-star survey that you can embed directly in Odoo's email notification templates.


Create your survey

First, create a new survey.

Customize the survey settings to your heart's desires. 😁 Then, choose the Integrate with another tool option in the Publish tab.

Select either Odoo Helpdesk or Odoo Sales in the pop-up box, depending on where you would like to integrate your survey.

Click the generate embed code button. Make sure you're on the link option, then click copy survey.


Add your survey to Odoo's notification emails

Head over to your Odoo account, then go to settings.

Then under email templates go to review all templates

Open the template and select some text. Then a </> button should show up, click it and you'll be taken to HTML mode.

Paste the survey URL where you'd like it to be displayed, then leave HTML mode by clicking the </> button again.

Eventually your URL should have the object.id placeholder in there like this:

Then click save to save your email template.

Once that's set up we recommend that you activate the pull ticket details integration, so that survey responses will display the related ticket and customer data.


Try it out!

Create a test ticket with yourself as the customer. Set the ticket to solved, then check your email and click any rating that you like. Once you do, new feedback should instantly show up in your Simplesat dashboard. 🎊
